The air flow monitor/alarm is a single probe instrument used to detect air flow in fume hoods. The probe is to be mounted in the air flow path as shown. The instrument is calibrated for the OSHA standard of 100 FPM. If flow velocity is restricted, a yellow caution warning light will turn on for 10 seconds before moving to a full warning red condition with audible alarm. A mute button can turn off the alarm allowing the air to be adjusted.
