Return Material Authorization {RMA}

To enable tracking of materials returned to Instruments for Research and Industry, Inc. we have instituted a Return Material Authorization system that allows materials to be process faster and with greater reliability. To obtain an RMA contact the order Department and a customer service representative will take the required information and give fax instructions for the return materials as well as issuing the RMA number.

To return material via the Web use the link below and provide:

• Model number of the unit/device.

• Serial number of instruments.

• Your name.

• Your phone number.

• Your fax number.

• Provide a brief description of the reason the material is being returned.

Repair Policy

Instruments for Research and Industry, Inc. does not support or authorize any repairs outside of the factory. Schematics, wring diagrams, bill of materials component sources, component descriptions, are OEM vendor information are not supplied. Products returned for repair not covered under warranty will be assessed a $65.00 incoming inspection fee to cover handling, and evaluation of required repairs. No repairs will be completed without the approval of the customer and a purchase order issued or credit card number. The cost of the repairs are additional to the incoming Inspection fee. All units requiring calibration will have an additional $55.00 calibration fee assessed. Return shipping charges will be added to the overall cost of the repair.
